Logistics Operator

Ensure the optimisation of goods and resources with the aim of
customer satisfaction.

Ensure the effective reception of goods, guaranteeing their
quality.
Know and comply with the procedures defined for the
recognition of goods in the IT systems.
Prepare the goods for delivery to the store to ensure proper
restocking.
Perform physical control of goods and inventories in reserve to
verify stock.
Prepare orders to be delivered to customers in optimal
transport conditions.
Receive special orders and reserve stock for customer orders.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Responsible for training new employees within the department.
- Mobility Ambassador: A company-integrated project aimed at
managing employees' mobile phones on the platform.

- Report
to headquarters if any issues arise to resolve them and
provide equipment setup for new employees.

Goods On Hold Coordinator

Working closely with the Depot Manager where I’m accountable for the held parcel process within the depot in order to achieve deadlines and targets. Ensuring maximum visibility of a parcel during its life cycle and making sure the parcel is presented for delivery on the required date; resolving customer queries and dealing with depot collections.

- To ensure all ‘unable to locate’ parcels have the correct delivery information
- Investigating damaged or open parcels
- To be accountable for requesting further information or returning parcels to the customer
- Completing the administration of mis-routes and mislabelled parcels.
- Working closely with the senior management team and security department to identify and prevent fraudulent consignments
- Carry out housekeeping checks
