Logistics Operator

In this role, I was responsible for optimizing the flow of goods and resources with a focus on customer satisfaction and efficiency. I ensured accurate reception and quality control of deliveries, followed strict procedures for logging goods into internal IT systems, and prepared stock for store replenishment and customer orders. I regularly performed inventory checks and handled special orders, always aiming to keep things running smoothly. In addition to my core responsibilities, I trained new employees, supported internal operations as a Mobility Ambassador by managing staff mobile devices, and communicated directly with headquarters to resolve technical issues and set up new equipment. This role required strong attention to detail, independence, and a proactive mindset—qualities I now bring into my approach to design and user experience.

Goods On Hold Coordinator

As the Goods on Hold Coordinator, I worked closely with the Depot Manager and was trusted to independently manage the held parcel process, ensuring parcels were correctly tracked, updated, and ready for delivery on time. I took full responsibility for resolving delivery issues, investigating damaged or mislabeled items, and handling customer parcel searches—often working autonomously to meet tight deadlines. I also liaised with senior management and the security team to identify and prevent fraudulent activity. Alongside my core responsibilities, I trained new employees, reviewed CCTV footage, and took on the role of COVID-19 Marshal. This position strengthened my ability to lead processes, solve problems under pressure, and remain dependable in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.

Depot Operator & Key Holder

I was responsible for opening the depot each day and stepping into a supervisory role when needed, making sure daily operations ran smoothly. My tasks included booking deliveries by phone and email, handling customer inquiries about damaged or missing items, and preparing address labels for shipments. I worked hands-on with goods—checking, moving, and storing them—and made sure Health and Safety policies were followed to keep the environment safe. I also helped load and unload vehicles. This role strengthened my ability to stay organized, communicate clearly, and manage both systems and people.

Back Of House Associate

I was responsible for maintaining high standards of housekeeping and merchandise presentation, receiving and processing deliveries quickly to ensure timely replenishment. By following floor-first procedures, I helped achieve sales targets through efficient stock handling. I also managed RFID stock counts and transfers between back and front of house, supporting the flow of goods and contributing to accurate stock management. In addition to daily tasks, I supported supervisors in coordinating the back-of-house team, which helped me develop a sense of structure, teamwork, and responsibility—skills I now carry into my transition to web and UI/UX design.
